Final Fantasy 10 for the PS Vita has re-emerged after spending a number of years in the dark.
Square Enix’s remake of Final Fantasy 10 for Sony’s PS Vita was originally revealed in 2011, but nothing has since been since, until now. With the news that Japan is to receive a PS Vita price drop, Final Fantasy 10 HD has finally broken cover.
Appearing at the Japan-focused Vita Heaven event, little is still known about the handheld remake, but a few screens have emerged on Famitsu. With all eyes on Sony and its expected next-gen reveal later this week, can games like Final Fantasy 10 help rejuvenate Sony's struggling handheld and give gamers experiences on the PS Vita that only it can really offer?
It’s a good start and it’s promising to see Square Enix wheel out one of the most popular Final Fantasy games in its back catalogue, too.
There's still no word on a release date, though.
