PS Store Update & December's PS Plus Details Revealed

A bumper episode this week with all the details you could need for PS Plus or the weekly PS Store update.

Ratchet & Clank: QForce is the game to play this week, though it won't actually release until this Friday. Check out our review for Ratchet & Clank to find out why.

Elsewhere there's a number of new releases or digital premiers, such as Dead Or Alive 5, Ace Combat Assault Horizon and even The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes.

Other smaller titles include PS Mobile game Puzziball - we haven't played it but we assume it's a puzzle game that involves balls - and new free Vita game/app called Travel Bug.

Check out the PS EU blog for a full rundown of what you'll see when you get home tonight.

However, Sony also announced the content coming to PS Plus next month, and there's some real treats in there.

Batman: Arkham City is your big game of the month and will be entirely free from next month.

Then there's much-loved indie platformer Limbo, as well as over-the-top third-person shooter Vanquish which - considering it was overlooked by many - is perhaps the best candidate for PS Plus.

PS Vita owners will also be able to grab Mortal Kombat for free too, which is nice.

New games include Knytt Underground, a quirky Metroid-style platformer that looks more than little like Limbo but with colour.

It'll be available for both PS3 and PS Vita, and can be downloaded 21 December 2012. Think of it as a happy Christmas present.

Lastly there's Big Sky Infinite, a side-scrolling shoot-'em-up which will also be available for PS3 and PS Vita. It launches 12 December.

Again, take a look at the official PS EU blog for full details.
