A petition for Rockstar to release GTA 5 on PC has collected over 47,000 signatures so far.
GTA 5 will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 but there's no confirmation of a PC version yet. The petition for Rockstar to release GTA 5 on PC, set up seven days ago on change.org, is aiming for 100,000 signatures in total.
"Please release GTA V on PC," states the petition. "GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have."
Rockstar has released all of its console GTA titles to date on PC although it hasn't released all of its games on PC - Red Dead Redemption is one such example.
Rockstar's Dan Houser has said a PC version of GTA 5 is "up for consideration."
