Halo 4 TV Ad Incoming: UK Time

Halo 4’s TV launch ad is almost ready to hit the web and you’ll be able to watch it from tomorrow morning, according to Xbox marketing man, Graeme Boyd (aka Acey Bongos).

Taking to Twitter, Acey Bongos announced:

"You'll be able to see the Halo 4 TV ad on Facebook and YouTube tomorrow morning from 6.30am UK, I will tweet links. Xbox later in the day."

The TV ad, like many of the big Halo advertisements, is live action. In something of a scoop for Microsoft and 343 Industries, it has been developed in conjunction with Seven, Fight Club and The Social Network director, David Fincher.

Also, the ad’s special effects have been developed by Scott Pilgrim vs. The World sfx lead, Tim Miller. Though Halo: Reach and ODST have both received big budget live action launch trailers, the last time an ad of this scale was produced was when District 9 director Neil Blomkamp directed Landfall for Halo 3.
