Skyrim’s DLC problems on PS3 don’t appear to have an easy solution and Bethesda’s Pete Hines has hinted that further DLC, such as the recently released Hearthfire, could complicate things further.
Speaking to fans on Twitter Hines confirmed that Bethesda is still working on fixing the PS3 version of Skyrim, but the studio is clearly struggling.
Hine’s said recently:
“I don't have an update beyond what we put out during PAX. Still working on it.”
He went on to confirm that Bethesda was struggling to fix the PS3 version of Dawngaurd and admitted the introduction of Hearthfire could make things harder, not easier.
“It's a matter of how it works on its own. Other dlc does complicate things.”
To make matters worse for PS3 fans of Skyrim, Hines expressed his frustration at the media’s reporting on the issues facing Bethesda. When asked what he thought of recent speculation, Hines said some info was "competely untrue".
Bethesda has indefinitely delayed the PS3 Skyrim DLC, but is clearly working to rectify the issue.
