Sky Player Fails On Xbox Live

Sky's Xbox subscription-based TV service stumbles at the first hurdle...
Sky’s Xbox player launched yesterday and as we reported at the time, it has been hitting a few teething troubles. Well, apparently they reached such a pitch that Sky has pulled the service altogether, with Microsoft citing on its technical support site that "Sky Player engineers are hard at work to resolve the problem”.

Whether the faults are due to rapid uptake, legitimate bugs or some other unforeseen consequence of rolling the service out post-beta is as yet unknown. We shall bring you the answers as soon as we know more.
