PS Vita owners will be able to play over 100 original PlayStation classics when the highly-touted 1.80 update launches for the handheld next week.
Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil 2 are among the games Sony confirmed would be compatible last week at gamescom.
The update will also enable PS Vita owners to control their PS3 home screen and use the handheld as a controller in some games using the Cross Play functionality.
Final Fantasy 7 re-launched for PC just last week, too.
