Gamescom 2012 is underway, and NowGamer's first port of call was to catch up with Bohemia Interactive developer and creator of DayZ Dean "Rocket" Hall.

When asked about the potential of the mod and whether it could conceivably come to consoles when it is released as a standalone product, Hall said "it's definitely achievable."

"I think that, say, we did 2 million sales I think that definitely we’d start to look at things like that being quite achievable."

Hall then continued, "ArmA already has a background in going on to the 360 so it’s definite possibility."

It won't be a for while yet, however, with Hall saying DayZ is still very much in the experimentation stage.

"I think it’s a staged-approach thing, so we’re really in the experimentation phase of it and that’s what the PC is really awesome for to experiment with it and we get the experience good and then if the sales are good then that means the demand is there and we look at what’s out there."

So let us know what you think, would you be interested in seeing DayZ brought to PS3 or Xbox 360?
