Though it was known a Killzone game for PS Vita was in the works, very little has been heard about it. Well, now it's official.
Sony has announced Killzone Mercenary at its Gamescom 2012 conference, with Guerrilla Games as the developer.
Gameplay was shown after a live action trailer, focusing on the emphasis of money - with a constant cash icon represented at the top right of the screen.
Each time a kill was made - some with the use of touch screen for a melee attack - money was added to the total, suggesting the 'Mercenary' aspect of this latest Vita game is more than just a cosmetic feature.
Sony claimed Killzone Mercenary was made "specifically for the Vita" and that it was "blown away by early builds". No more details were given, but hey - it's a new Vita game!
