Valve: 'Major' Steam Community Update Incoming, New TF2 Mode Launches
Valve confirms new game hubs and community features fr Steam, and launches new Mann vs. Machine co-op mode for Team Fortress 2.

Valve has announced "a major update coming to the Steam Community," which will make it easier for players to share the "89 million screenshots, videos, Steam Workshop maps, levels, mods, and items, plus news articles and product updates, the community has created," according to Valve's Emily Kent.
"Every game on Steam will have a new Game Hub. The Hubs highlight the most popular user-created screenshots, videos, and Steam Workshop items as rated by the community and combine it with related news, discussions, and comments for the game all in one central location," reads the email.

Meanwhile, Team Fortress 2 players can now play the new Mann vs. Machine mode.
"Mann vs. Machine is a new co-operative game for Team Fortress 2 that lets you and five friends wage a desperate battle to stop a lethal horde of robots from deploying a bomb in one of Mann Co.’s many strongholds," reads the description. "Take advantage of breaks between waves to upgrade your abilities and weapons. Survive all the waves in any of a variety of missions to earn incredible loot."
