Sleeping Dogs is out this week, but that doesn't mean Square Enix isn't ready to properly back the previously ill-fated True Crime game.

Six months of DLC has been planned for Sleeping Dogs, with the first content pack appearing as early as this week - which will be an Eighties-themed Triad pack with unique clothing and funky van.

Next up is the Racing Pack in September, bringing high-speed action into Hong Kong as well as an "explosive" SWAT pack.

Discussing the upcoming DLC, general manager of Square Enix London Studios said, "We want to create something to suit everyone's play style from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs.

"The game launch is just the beginning" he added.

Check back tomorrow at five for our official verdict on Sleeping Dogs.
