BioWare co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka have not left EA, and recent shuffles are just business as usual, according to EA.
Recent changes to Zeschuk's LinkedIn page and Muzyka's Twitter profile had led to reports suggesting changes were afoot, but speaking to German site GamersGlobal, EA confirmed any recent movements were planned.
"When Greg Zeschuk announced the reorganisation of [BioWare Austin] in May, he outlined his plan to return to his family in Edmonton for a much deserved vacation," EA said in response to Zeschuk's alleged non-attendance, while his exit as GM of SWTOR studio BioWare Austin was also planned.
"Greg is still with EA. He's now back in Canada, taking time off and thinking about new projects. No change with Ray Muzyka," adds the reported quote.
BioWare Austin is also rumoured to be getting rebranded as EA Austin.
SWTOR has struggled to maintain momentum and recently announced it would go free-to-play after less than a year.
EA UK has declined to comment.
