Call of Duty isn't the only FPS published by Activision - the Cabela's hunting series also crops up year after year, and the publisher is up to it's peripheral-related tricks this time around with the Fearmaster.
The plastic light-gun peripheral enables players to naviagate (via analogue stick and buttons) and shoot their way through the game, while a biometric heart rate monitor and motion stability sensors in the devicewill judge how panicky you're getting.
"Players that successfully control their heart rate will increase their accuracy, deal more damage, or slow down time to line up the perfect shot. The importance of a stable, even breathing pattern and a steady hand is vital to the best shot while out in the real life wilderness, and that is no different in Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013," reads the press release.
Check out the launch video below. Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013 is out 23 October in the US for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $79.99 with the Fearmaster, but the game is also available without the peripheral. The Wii version of the Fearmaster, which only features motion-sensing, will set you back $59.99 with the game.
