Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is now available for pre-order on Steam - but if you shell out for the revised shooter now, Valve will knock off 10 per cent of the £11.99 price, and let you play the beta a week before launch.

That means if you're not already on the CS: GO beta, you'll be able to play the game on PC from Tuesday 14 August.

"We have learned a great deal from the beta, and as we move forward the best way we can update Counter-Strike is to start iterating on a live product that can be experienced by the widest range of players," reads the Counter-Strike site.

The CS: GO update is incoming before 14 August - hit up the link for the huge list of incoming Counter Strike: Global Offensive changes.

CS: GO is also coming to PS3 and Xbox 360.
