Destiny, Bungie's first post-Halo universe will be nothing short of epic - so much so, that Bungie is seeking "hundreds of thousands of gamers from all regions and territories around the world," to test the first game in the series.
"Making great games is no small endeavor. Now we are asking you, our community, to officially put your names on the list of those willing to lend a helping hand. Service requires only a Bungie.net account and a valid email address. In exchange, we’re offering you the unique opportunity to help us continue making improvements to our playlists, features, and online community…and the potential to help us shape our glorious future," reads the Bungie blog post.
"Not all who enlist will be selected. But hundreds of thousands of gamers from all regions and territories around the world will be needed before all is said and done. March with us, and together, we will bask in the glory of World Domination."

"Potential missions" for testers are liste include: Playtests and Usability Testing at Bungie, Surveys on game playing habits, Alpha and Beta Testing for our next game.
Yep, that last one is in bold - and will be the biggest reason for Bungie fans to sign up.
Destiny is set to hit Xbox 360 and next Xbox next year, then follow on other platforms. Exciting times, eh?
