Half-Life 3 hints are still popping up here and there, but another long-awaited Half-Life project is also nearing completion.
Black Mesa, the fan-made mod which reimagines the original Half-Life in the Source engine, is almost with us, and the first new gameplay footage has escaped courtesy of fansite ValveTime.
Check out the 'On a Rail' section of the game (below), which was captured from a "fairly old build" of the mod. The Black Mesa team has yet to comment, but other than some niggles regarding the Magnum's ironsights, it looks rather excellent.
Are you excited for Black Mesa? Have you yet to even play Half-Life? Let us know.
