SSX seems set to receive a brand new head-to-had online multiplayer mode, judging by hints from EA Sports which has teased the new mode via new screens and a video (below) which shows participants racing against each other in realtime.
SSX launched without official support for head-to-head with players instead competing against their friends' ghost times.
Earlier teases have suggested that a freeride mode and the fan-favourite "Merqury City" course would be headed to the game.
Back before launch SSX producer Todd Batty told us that he was considering adding a split-screen mode via a later update.
