Skyrim: Dawnguard PC Out Now, Bethesda 'Not Ready To Launch For PS3'
Bethesda launches Dawnguard for PC at Quakecon, but isn't "satisfied with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3."

Dawnguard is now available to PC players via Steam - the expansion will set you back £13.99. It's a good time to get Skyrim, too - Steam is currently discounting the game by 50 per cent, meaning you can get for just £17.49.
So where's Dawnguard on PS3? It's not ready according to Bethesda, which released the following statement on the matter:
"We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality."
The PS3 version of Skyrim suffered severe performance issues post-launch too, so while it's great that Bethesda is ensuring a solid experience for all, it's a shame that the DLC has fallen behind schedule.
