EA has three "PC/console titles" planned for release between January and March 2013 that it has yet to formally announce, the publisher has confirmed.

The news came during a recent EA investor call, and ahead of a planned EA Summer Showcase event set to be streamed live online tonight - although CEO John Riccitiello also commented "gamescom is when we do most of the rest of the unveiling."

EA has six games scheduled for the first three months of 2013, with Crysis 3, Dead Space 3 and SimCity already announced.

The showcase commences at 9pm BST tonight and will include "presentations, announcements, and live demos" according to EA.

Also expect live demos of Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, Medal of Honor Warfighter, FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13, The Sims 3 "and other fan-favorite franchises".

Mass Effect news could be incoming too, with BioWare hinting that something is in the pipline. New DLC for Mass Effect 3 would appear to be the most likely outcome.
