Skyrim's PS3 players will have to wait a little longer for the Dawnguard expansion - Bethesda has confirmed that the 1.7 update required before installing the DLC won't be coming to Sony's console for weeks.
Bethesda has yet to confirm a release date for Dawnguard on PS3 and PC after it launched for Xbox 360 on 26 June - as of today Microsoft's 30-day exclusivity period has expired.
It's unclear if PC players will get to play Dawnguard earlier, given that the 1.7 update has launched - in beta - on Steam.
PS3 gamers are getting the features from update 1.6 rolled into 1.7 - which includes the addition of mounted combat as well as numerous fixes - meaning that they'll need to update to version 1.7 before they're able to play Dawnguard.
We'll keep you posted.
