Shadowrun Online is the second Shadowrun-related project to appear on Kickstarter. Developed by Cliffhanger Productions, the game will be a free to play MMO for browser and tablet devices.
You can check out the official Shadowrun Online Kickstarter page to back the project.
Powered by Untiy 3D, Shadowrun Online will follow the Shadowrun pen and paper ruleset and will feature co-op play and faction warfare.
However, while Shadowrun Returns - developed by Harebrained Schemes - has the involvement of the Shadowrun pen and paper RPG creators, Shadowrun Online does not.
That could all change if the project receives a healthy amount of Kickstarter backing. So if you like the look of the project, show it some love over at the project page.
