
Next PlayStation 3 Slim Could Include Top-Loading Disc Drive - Images

Pictures revealing what could be a new PlayStation 3 slim model have hit the internet.

The PS3 could be getting a new-look slimline model according to rumours brewing ahead of next month's Gamescom event, and now what could be the first images of the next PS3 slim shape have hit the net via Brazilian site Tecnoblog.
Check out the images below to judge them for yourself - they clearly show what looks to be a slide-top casing, which would seem to be harbouring a disc drive in the absence of a slot-loading drive (in the current/original PS3) at the front of console.
Sony could be set to reveal the new-version PS3s, said to be model number CECH-4011B and CECH-4011C, at Gamescom next month, much like it did with the PS3 Slim in 2009. If so, could a price-cut be incoming too? We'll find out more when Gamescom starts on 15 August.
