GTA 5: Growing Evidence Suggests Gamescom Appearance

The rumours and counter-rumours persist, but with Take Two deciding to hold an investor call this month, GTA 5 could still make it to Gamescom in August.

GTA 5 could still make an appearance at Gamescom in Cologne next month, if recent evidence is any indication.
Although a LinkedIn profile claiming GTA 5 would be in Cologne turned out to be fake, Take Two has now brought forward an investor-relations call for first-quarter fiscal 2013 earnings.
Last year, the Take Two revealed its first-quarter results on 8 August, but will speak to shareholders on 31 July this year instead.
Gamescom will be open to the public from 16-19 August, with press invited to attend from 15 August.
The Gamescom website actually listed the Take Two booth at Gamescom 'Rockstar Games c/o Take Two' as recently as 9 May this year.
The booth in question is rather large and reserved for the press-only section, hall 5, rather than public.
The site listing has now been edited so that Rockstar are no longer mentioned, although interestingly, the site does return Take Two as a result when searching for Rockstar.
This week's MCV confirms that GTA 5 Gamescom rumours persist, and quote 2K's Markus Wilding as saying "2K is going to be at Gamescom in a big way."
While the 2K label doesn't technically include Rockstar, we can only think of one game bigger than XCOM, BioShock Infinite and Borderlands 2.
Do you think Rockstar will show GTA 5 at Gamescom this year? Have your say below.
