Nintendo has set a November release date for the Wii U according to new information on Rayman Legends - a game previously confirmed for the console's launch.
A source has revealed to NowGamer that Ubisoft's Wii U exclusive game will hit retail on Friday 23 November in Europe - meaning the new Nintendo console will definitely have launched by that time.
Wii U could well launch on 23 November worldwide however.
Rayman Legends is the only one of Ubisoft's Wii U games to appear on the publisher's retail schedule as 'TBC'; the seven other games are confidently labelled as 'Wii U launch' suggesting they'll variously launch during the console's launch window.

A Rayman Legends developer said at E3 that the game would be available "at launch" of the Wii U, adding that "around November" was the likely release date.
Furthermore, 23 November falls in line with previous Nintendo hardware launches - both the Gamecube and Wii launched in mid-to-late November - and also falls conveniently on Black Friday in the US, the busiest shopping day of the year and the start of the holiday retail rush.
Recent Wii U release date guesses from retailers have suggested the console could launch as late as December.
