Shenmue has built up something of a cult following in recent years, as fans of the series rabidly request Shenmue 3 from Sega. But the original Dreamcast classic might be turning up in digital form, according to Sega's brand manager Ben Harborne.
In an interview with GameReactor, Harborne was asked if fans should let Sega know which Dreamcast titles they'd like to see remade, to which he replied "Yes, definitely, but I can tell you what it's going to be, it's going to be Shenmue. And Skies Of Arcadia too."
He backtracks a little afterwards, unfortunately, saying "They're a couple of our most requested games. I can't say 'yes' or 'no', but we may be working on them."
You can watch the full video interview over at GR, but while he might not have officially confirmed it, Shenmue and Skies Of Arcadia look like they could be next up for the digital XBLA and PSN remake treatment.
