Borderlands 2 could be on its way to Tegra 3-capable Android devices according to a story by AndroidandMe which reports that Gearbox and Nvidia showed off the upcoming co-op shooter sequel at the 19th LAN-Party PDXLAN event.
Following hints of "something really special" from Nvidia and Gearbox however, some fans had anticipated a reveal connected to the former's upcoming Kepler GPU.
Borderlands 2 is set for a summer release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC according to the site, which also speculated that the game could theoretically launch simultaneously on Tegra 3-Android tablets.
What isn't clear though, is whether Borderlands 2 was shown running locally on an Android tablet, or whether any sort of streaming or cut-down code was involved.
We've dropped Take Two a line for further details.
