Published on Feb 20, 2012
Double Fine Adventure, the bold project to crowd-fund a traditional point-and-click adventure game - and document its development at Tim Schafer's studio - has just passed $2 million's worth of pledges.
The project began on 9 February and originally aimed to generate $400,000 of funding in 30 days - it exceeded that target after eight hours.
Tim Schafer has stated that extra funding will mean additional features and platforms for the game - which will now be heading to Linux, Mac, PC, Android and iOS with full voice acting in English and translation into French, Italian, German and Spanish.
