Media Molecule Shares Game Job Tips

Tom Hopkins 16:00, Tuesday 8 September 2009

The LittleBigPlanet developer has given NowGamer its top tips for a successful interview for a job in the videogame industry

As part of our feature on securng a job in games, the Guildford-based studio sensibly advises prospective game creators to be themselves in a job interview, be polite and exude enthusiasm – without swearing.

“These guys would know - they famously hired a level designer from within the LBP community”

If they sound like rules for interviews in any industry, Media Molecule get a bit more specific for digital creatives, suggesting candidates show their knowledge of games, and take examples of work on some sort of storage media. Sounds like top advice to us, and these guys would know – they famously hired a level designer that impressed them from within the LBP community.
