GTA 5: PS3, Xbox 360, PC Release Date Is 23 November - Zavvi

GTA 5 is listed with a 23 November 2012 release date in the UK on the retail website Zavvi.

GTA 5 previously appeared on the site with a July 2012 release window which has since been all but debunked by shifts in Max Payne 3's release (to mid-May) and recent updates from Rockstar saying it will reveal more on the game soon.

23 November is a Friday, the traditional day for new releases in the UK, and would also put a GTA 5 release square in Call of Duty 9 territory, which traditionally launches in mid-to-late November.

GTA 5 won't fear any other game though, including the next Call of Duty, according to EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich.

If publisher Take Two is to realise it's predictions of a potentially record year for fiscal 2013, it would need to get GTA 5 out the door in time for the lucrative holiday 2012 period.

Rockstar could well show more of GTA 5 after Max Payne 3 is released - pre-E3 - before almost six months of promotion for the game. It's good enough for Activision, with the publisher following the same product cycle for each Call of Duty for the last few years.
