
The Expendables 2: Ubisoft Making Stallone Movie Game - Rumour

The Expendables 2 could be getting the tie-in game treatment courtesy of Ubisoft.

The Expendables 2, Sylvester Stallone's upcoming all-action sequel starring Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, is being made into a game by Ubisoft, according to a document seen by NowGamer.
Although The Expendables 2 isn't mentioned in the development document by name, the movies characters Jensen and Caeser are, along with multiple references to action game mechanics, such as shooting, knife-kills and a 'chopper mini-game'.
Ubisoft and the Balkans - the setting for the Expendables 2 - are also frequently mentioned.
Ubisoft was reportedly in talks for the rights to the game as far back as late 2010.
The Expendables 2 is a sequel to Stallone's violent, explosive love letter to 1980's action movies which released in August 2010 - it's set to hit cinemas in August 2012.
