NowGamer has hit a new 1.15 million uniques traffic record, following site relaunch.

Published on Dec 1, 2011

NowGamer has, for the first time in its history, passed 1 million unique visitors for the month of November, clocking up 1.15 million uniques.

The final count was 1,151,450 visitors, of which over 400,000 were in the UK, which puts us up there with popular gaming sites, such as CVG, VG247 and Videogamer.

We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our readers over the last couple of years, our colleagues and game publishers who help make our content possible.

Nick Jones, NowGamer Editor in Chief

"To reach this milestone in such a short period of time is a fantastic achievement for the team and I want to congratulate everyone involved."

"But this is just the beginning for NowGamer, and I see this as very much just the completion of stage one. We’ve got our sights set higher now and I’m confident that next year will be our best ever. We want to make NowGamer the best gaming site in the UK."

Dave Cook, NowGamer Games Editor

"When we relaunched NowGamer back in July it really did feel like we were entering uncharted territory. We had a new site, a new direction and no idea what was to come next."

"But the NowGamer team is the strongest it has ever been, and I enjoy working with these guys every single minute of the day because we work hard to give our readers the very best content possible. I truly believe we achieve that too."

"So thank you to all of our readers across the world, our legions of Twitter fans, and the game publishers who help make our content possible. You rule!"

Adam Barnes, NowGamer Staff Writer

"It's quite a hard feeling to surmise in such a small space - we've worked hard to make NowGamer as fantastic as it can be and it's great to be part of a team that really works well together to make that happen."

"But honestly it couldn't be done without our community of readers, who return to NowGamer for its many different aspects of games journalism."

"So thank you to our forumites, our Twitter followers and our unheard but just as important regular readers, it wouldn't be worth the effort if it wasn't for them and an accomplishment like this really makes it worthwhile."

What next? Well, we want to hear from you!

NowGamer relaunched in July with a brand new site, tons of new features and an increase of quality content, although the fun doesn't stop there.

All of the team here sees NowGamer as an ongoing project that will keep on growing based on gaming trends and most importantly, your feedback.

So please do get in touch to tell us what you think, as we do listen and we strive to make the site enjoyable for you, the reader.
