Gears Of War Designer Cliffy B Reveals 'Must Play' PS3 Exclusives

Cliff Bleszinski has revealed his top three, 'must play' PS3 games to conincide with the console's fifth birthday.

The Gears of War 3 developer, and occasionally partisan industry figure chose Heavy Rain, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Killzone 2.

Of Quantic Dream's noir thriller Bleszinski said: "People toss the term “Interactive Movie” around, but David Cage and crew actually delivered on that promise. It’s a thrilling ride from start to finish."

Uncharted picks up where the movies of a certain hero archaeologist left off, the developer reasons. "Indiana Jones died in the blast that nuked the fridge. Nathan Drake took up that helm and I’ve loved treasure hunting with him ever since."

Killzone 2 is on the list for professional as well as gameplay reasons added Cliffy B. "Not just because it’s damned gorgeous, but because the head engineer is the guy I made a little game called Jazz Jackrabbit with which kickstarted my career. Thanks, Arjan Brussee!"

Other developers to share their 'must play' PS3 titles include God of War director Stig Asmussen (Heavy Rain, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Dead Space 2), Quantic Dream's David Cage (Portal 2, Catherine, LittleBigPlanet), Media Molecule's Mark Healey (Flower, Heavy Rain, Blast Factor), BioShock creator Ken Levine (God of War III, Uncharted 2, Joe Danger) and loads more.
