CS: GO beta succumbs to Valve time after feedback.
Published on Oct 31, 2011
Counter Strike: Global Offensive will miss its planned October window to enter open beta testing, due to pro-gamer feedback Valve's Chet Faliszek has confirmed.
Speaking in an interview with the pro-gaming site ESEA, the Valve developer mentioned that the Beta will start with one or two maps, with content gradually being added to eventually make up the finished game.
Faliszek also said that the beta would begin with 10,000 testers, the new crosshair includes additional weapon info and that CS: GO's spectator features would share tech with Valve's DOTA 2.
