Grand Theft Auto 5 only a year away says Divnich

Grand Theft Auto 5's launch could be just 12 short months away according to EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich.
Speaking to NowGamer back in May after publisher Take Two extended its deal with Rockstar Games, Divnich chose November 2012 as an ideal GTA 5 launch window. Speaking to NowGamer today, the analyst declined the opportunity to amend his prediction.
"They seem dedicated on owning the month of May," he told us earlier in the year, referring to Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire. "Of course, the last GTA was launched in April," he added.
"Personally, I’d go with November 2012. The market has been so over-saturated with FPS that there is and will be considerable demand for sandbox action based titles for the next 3 years," Divnich reasoned.
"That being said, I believe that GTA V would substantially crush any competitors within its holiday window. If I could create the most ideal schedule for Rockstar, it would be a Max Payne release in May 2012; GTA V in November 2012."
Max Payne has since been scheduled for a March 2012 release, leaving Rockstar's schedule clear for a calendar Q4 2012 launch window for Grand Theft Auto 5.
Look out for a GTA 5 announcement trailer on 2 November.
