Valve confirms Xbox Counter-Strike at the show

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a reworked version of the original game will be playable to the public for the first time at Pax Prime from this Friday, Valve confirmed.
In a Valve statement, Doug Lombardi confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive would be playable this weekend, with the PS3 version to appear at Eurogamer Expo next month
NowGamer recently interviewed Valve's Gave Newell at Gamescom regarding Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and DotA 2. You can read the full interview here.
In the interview, Newell promised that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive would deliver the best that the series has to offer, "We haven't seen Counter-Strike on consoles since 2003, so we invited lots of the pro players to Valve and we asked them what they liked best about Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source. So we're planning to take the best of both games and make it better."
