Negative 3DS Press Won’t Affect Sales – Analyst
3DS came under super-scrutiny from The Sun this week, which claimed the console was causing dizziness in a number of gamers resulting in a high proportion of returns.
"I don't think the negative publicity of the 3DS will hurt the sales of 3DS," Woo told NowGamer. "There are a lot of Nintendo fans, who will buy the system. Also, some of the negative press [may] have not been credible."
Woo added that the market was Nintendo's toughest barrier to sales. "I think the bigger problem for 3DS is the high price and competition from mobile games," added the analyst.
