We reported that GTA 5 patch 1.05 is live and it now appears that players have started receiving the promised ‘stimulus package’ from Rockstar.
Rockstar promised players $500,000 in GTA Online following the well-publicised problems the multiplayer mode suffered on launch. The only problem is that a glitch to make money in GTA Online using an exploit selling cars was discovered and half-a-million dollars is now a drop in the ocean for most players who have stuck with the mode.
Even so, the stimulus package has begun rolling out and Rockstar said not to panic if some players on your friends list gets the bonus payment before you do, as everyone will get the money eventually.
