Fez Bug Fixes Incoming – Polytron
Fez may have launched amid much fanfare last week, but some gamers have experienced problems with the pixelart platformer – but developer Polytron is on top if it.
“Fez had more testing done in the past 24 hours by about TWENTY THOUSAND PEOPLE (!!) than it had in five years. So, as it happens, bugs popped up. Some pretty serious,” lead programmer Renaud Bédard admitted on the Polytron site.
The issues include problems with older consoles, crashes and corrupted saves.
“It makes sense to issue a patch, but we don’t currently have an ETA on it,” Bédard added. “Lots of these problems have simple workarounds, so we can help you out, and email is easier than tweets,” said Bédard.
