Cliff Bleszinski’s departure from Epic Games has seen an outpouring of support from fans across the world as well as many of the games industry’s leading talents expressing their warm wishes.

Twitter quickly became inundated with well-wishers from across the industry, with many even hinting they’d be interested in working with Bleszinski in the coming months.

After his, you know, break.

Former Epic producer Rod Fergusson, currently working with Irrational Games on BioShock Infinite, said…

Another Epic Games dev, Mike Capps (currently the president of Epic games) thanked Bleszinski for his ‘amazing job’.

Former Call Of Duty community manager, Rob Bowling (now heading up his own studio, Robotoki) draws attention to the number of prominent developers leaving the industry or moving away from their studios.

Speaking of prominent developers who have recently left the industry, former BioWare founder Ray Muzyka looked to the promise of Bleszinski’s future and whatever it is he does next.

Former People Can Fly founder and Bulletstorm developer, Adrian Chmielarz, didn’t add any comments, only a solemn re-tweet of Bleszinski’s orginal.

Bungie, in a rather Yoda-like fashion, expressed its interest in Bleszinski’s future. Could Bungie’s Destiny be looking to recruit?

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2’s game design director, David Vonderhaar might be neck deep in zombies getting Black Ops 2 ready for release, but he confirms that Bleszinski has been a ‘huge inspiration’ to him.

Platinum Games' Hideki Kamiya responded with a brilliant tweet back to a fan asking for comment. It turns out he's not too sure who Cliff Bleszinski even is...

Minecraft’s Markus Persson also wished Bleszinski a cheeky good luck.

Finally, Xbox Live’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) teases that Bleszinski’s break might not be that long after all…

But, if Bleszinski’s response to one tweet hints at anything, he could be wandering the earth for many years…
