Batman: Arkham City Riddler Trophies, Collectables And Challenges Locations Guide

This is the third part of our Batman: Arkham City Riddler trophies and challenges locations guide. Here you will find the challenges for the Museum section, but if you're looking for other sections then click the links below.

1: After travelling through the furnace and dropping into the tunnels through a destructible panel, look for a water cooling chamber on the left. Use the batclaw to open the door and collect the trophy inside.
2: West of the large loading bay area is a locked elevator. Use the TYGER panel to gain entry.
3: In the assembly room look for the Harley Head. From here, grapple up to the top of the room to an area with a green "Jokers Funland" sign. The trophy is behind a destructible wall here.
4: in the room where you rescue Dr Stacey Baker, open the vent and grapple up onto the wall on the right.
5: On the ground floor of the smelting chamber near a short set of stairs and panelling with molten steel running beneath it. The Riddler trophy Canberra seen under a short gap, which you must slide under to collect.
6: on the south wall of the smelting chamber is another water cooling chamber. Use the bat claw to open it and access the riddler trophy inside.
7: Enter the Cooling Tunnel D from the smelting chamber and use the Remote Electrical Charge on the electromagnet at the end of the corridor. Once the mine cart has moved, collect the Riddler trophy underneath.
8: When heading through the assembly line with the REC, use it on the electromagnet in the larger central room (where you previously beat up the three gunmen). With the bumper cars moved, open the vent and head straight down the tunnel to a concealed area with two "Death Ride" signs. The riddler is next to the conveyor belt.
9: After moving the bumper cars for Trophy 8, another tunnel will have opened on the right. This is blocked by hot air and must be passed by using a Freeze Blast grenade.
10: On the left as soon as you enter the freight elevator area is a water cooling chamber. Use the batclaw to unlock it.
11: In the Loading Bay, after tearing down Joker's door, use the electromagnet to destroy the fan at the back of the room. Climb up here to find the trophy.
12: From Trophy 11, drop down the pipe at the end and Line Launcher across the lava. Step on the pressure pad at the end to collect the trophy.
13: Grapple onto the ledge beside the TITAN tank in the rear entrance of the Steel Mill. Use Explosive Gel on the wall here to reveal the trophy.
14: Opposite the gushing water in the Cooling Tunnel B. Use the Line Launcher to cross the water, then hack the TYGER panel.
15: Towards the end of the gushing water you'll spot a Riddler mark. Activate it, then Line Launcher across to the now-open area. Access the nearby vent and find the Riddler trophy inside.
16: After destroying the wall leading to the water in Cooling Tunnel D, throw a Freeze Blast near the far wall and grapple up to the hidden platform above.
17: When riding an ice platform along the water in Cooling Tunnel D you will have to duck under a low wall. After this, look up for a Riddler trophy on the ceiling, and use the Batclaw to grab it before you're crushed by the machines.
18: When riding an ice platform long the second section of Cooling Tunnel D, look for a vent on the right hand wall. Use the Batclaw to open it, then climb inside.
19: Open the chamber in the room where Jokers henchmen were interrogating one of Two Face's men. Then, after you've lowered the bridge, use the electrical current to charge a Remote Batarang then carefully navigate through the now-open chamber to hit the fusebox on the other side.
20: In the centre of the Loading Bay, drop through the floor grates then locate the pipe with hot air. Use the Freeze Blast to block it, then climb inside to collect the trophy.
21: At the bottom of the Freight Elevator, grapple onto the base of the elevator for this Trophy.
22: At the bottom of the Freight Elevator is a small destructible panel. He Explosive Gel to gain access and find the trophy inside.
23: In the basement level is a destructible wall to the north. The trophy is behind here.
24: Destroy all the penguins on the Joker's Fun House game then grab the Riddler trophy hidden in one of them with the Batclaw.
Harley Heads Locations
1: in the northeast corner of the loading bay area.
2: Immediately on the left in the first room of the assembly line, before the larger room with three gunmen guarding it.
3: in the second room inside the assembly line area, after defeating the three gunmen and smashing through the window.
4: in the room where you rescue Dr Stacey Baker. Part of the cut scene, so can't really be missed.
5: In the northeast corner of the smelting chamber on the ground floor, by a barrel of fire.
6: In the Cooling Tunnel D area, on the right as you enter from the smelting chamber.
7: Immediately in front of you after entering through the rear entrance of the Steel Mill.
8: At the end of Cooling Tunnel B, just before the door.
9: In the first room of Cooling Tunnel D, to the right of a destructible wall.
10: At the bottom of the Freight Elevator, next to the door.
11: In the Boiler Room next to a stack of crates.
12: Inside the corner of the Manager's Office.
Catwoman Trophies - Steel Mill
1: West of the large loading bay area is a locked elevator. Use the TYGER panel to gain entry.
2: In the assembly room look for the Harley Head. From here, grapple up to the top of the room to an area with a green "Jokers Funland" sign. Use cat woman to climb through the grate on the floor through to the other side.
3: Underneath one of the walkways in the east side of the Smelting Chamber.
4: Beneath the bridge that is lowered in Cooling Tunnel D.
5: Next to Trophy 12 inside the ventilation system connected to the Loading Bay.
Riddles Locations - Steel Mill
1: This question can only be answered from an unusual perspective. Can you get yourself there?
- In the room in Cooling Tunnel D with a destructible wall overlooked the water, drop down to the hang onto the ledge. The dot is on this ledge, so use the camera to alight the question mark on the wall ahead.
2: They say the more things changes the more they stay the same. Which dummy said that?
- Look for Harley Quinn's outfit from Arkham Asylum in the corner of the Manager's Office.
3: Once assembled, do these two become one again?
- You will need to return later for this one. Search in the north room of the Assembly Line with the REC controlled door leading to the Smelting Chamber. Scan the two Abramovici brothers as they rest against the gate.
4: Surely someone was clowning around when they qualified this person?
- In the east room on the top floor of the Smelting Chamber is a set of pictures of Joker and a degree certificate.
5: Do you really need to hammer it home? Everyone knows Harley is stupid.
- In the room in Cooling Tunnel D next to the Smelting Chamber is a Harley statue, with a hammer next to it. Scan this.
6: Who can BOYLE and Freeze at the same time?
- Inside the room at the end of Cooling Tunnel B is a poster of BOYLE Cyrogenics. Scan this.
7: What's a funnyman without his box of tricks?
- In the Boiler Room, look for a small box on top of a crate that is filled with Joker's pranks.
1: At the entrance of the museum, jump left through the wooden panel. Quickly tap L2/LT to throw multiple Batarangs at the three Riddler marks to unlock the Riddler trophy.
2: At the very top of the trophy room is a platform you can grapple onto. The trophy is sat on top of here.
3: There's a destructible wall in the south of the trophy room area on the top floor. The riddler trophy is on a set of crates inside.
4: Above the Scarface display in the trophy room is a vent. Use the batclaw to dislodge then climb through to the next corridor. The trophy is protected by a TYGER camera.
5: Slide under the barrier leading to the southwest corridor. A set of quarantine lasers will block entry to the trophy ahead, so use the upgraded Cryptographic Sequencer.
6: In the corridor leading out of the trophy room, turn left and use the REC to open the gate.
7: Above the last riddler trophy is a cage with an access grate. The trophy is inside here.
8: After surviving the Gladiator Pit and unlocking the gate you'll come to a lift powered by the REC. Before riding the lift, activate it so you can reach and destroy the destructible wall on the right to collect the riddler trop inside.
9: After riding the lift and accessing the floor above, look for a water cooling chamber on the wall. Use the Batclaw to prise it open.
10: From the top of the Gladiator Pit guide a remote controlled Batarang through the electrical current and back around into the fusebox in the central corridor with the locked gate. See video.
11: From the last trophy, smash through the window at the end of the corridor and walk around to collect the riddler trophy.
12: Below the platform as you enter the torture chamber is a water cooling chamber. Drop onto the ice and use the Batclaw to open the vent.
13: In the northern corridor of the Torture Chamber is a REC-powered door. Activate and slide under. You only need to hit one of the Riddler marks, so use L2/LT and X/A to quickly fire Batarangs until you successfully hit an active button.
14: In the northeast corner of the Armory is a door locked by a panel on the left. Unlock it and collect the trophy sat on the floor.
15: Sitting inside the floor grates running along the south side of the Armory's ground floor.
16: Along the far west side of the Armory is a hidden corridor. In the north corner of this area is the riddler trophy, blocked by hot air.
17: Underneath the central bridge of the Armory is a TYGER panel. You will need the upgraded cryptographic sequencer to reach it.
18: To the east of the bridge in the Armory is a set of destructible walls, with the riddler trophy inside.
19: In the corner of the Torture Chamber is a frozen Riddler trophy. It can only be accessed once you've earned the Freeze Blast ability.
20: Inside the chamber that was holding Mr Freeze.
21: In the northeast corner of the War Room, blocked by a blast of hot air.
22: Inside a small room connected to the bottom floor of the Iceberg Lounge is a small gap beneath a gate. You'll need to slide underneath once the mines have been dealt with.
23: Once you have the Line Launcher, return to the Torture Chamber and climb on top of the wooden platform near the corridor leding to the Armory. From there, use the Line Launcher to travel across the water with an aim to fire a second shot to the left in the far corner.
Catwoman Trophies - Museum
1: in the corridor leading out of the trophy room, turn left and enter the room with a REC controlled door. Use the access grate on the ceiling to find the trophy.
2: find a floor access grate on the north platform of e torture chamber overlooking the ice. Follow it around to collect the trophy hanging from the ceiling.
3: from the previous trophy, climb along the ceiling and drop down onto the cage in the northeast corner of the torture chamber.
4: On top of Mr Freeze's suit in the Armory.
5: On the ceiling underneath the top floor in the Armory.
Penguin Statues - Museum
1: in the north room immediately on the right after entering the Museum.
2: downstairs in the Trophy Room, to the right of the display case reserved for Batman.
3: in the northwest corner of the Trophy Room is a vent. Use the batclaw to rip this off, climb inside then look to the left in the corridor on the other side. The statue is on a table.
4: in the southeastern corridor of the Trophy Room. Slide under the get to find it sat on a nearby table on the right.
5: after switching off the power to the gates in the gladiator pit, search near the north-side gate for a statue on the ground.
6: as you take the stairs near the previous statue, look for a gap in the fence. Throw a remote controlled batarang through there to hit the statue in the hanging cage.
7: in the northern corridor leading from the torture chamber, sitting on the right-hand side of a boat.
8: on the ground floor of the Armory sitting in a broken display case on the east corridor.
9: underneath the bridge is a large statue of a mammoth. Beneath that is the penguin statue.
10: on a table in the corridor leading from the torture chamber to the war room.
11+12: Two statues appear together on a table at the bottom of the Iceberg Lounge.
Riddles Locations - Museum
This question can only be answered from an unusual perspective. Can you get yourself there?
- Drop down beneath the platform you enter the torture chamber on from the east. Stand to the right of the water cooling chamber and use detective vision to align the riddler mark on the distant wall opposite.
Whos in control here? The puppet or the puppeteer?
- In the northwest corner of the trophy room is a display with the Scarface puppet. Scan this.
Was he framed? Or does it run in the family?
- In the corridor leading out of the trophy room, as it turns to head west look for a picture with two people and a young Penguin.
Have Joker's pets laughed themselves to death, or just eaten too much?
- In the corridor leading to the War Room, look for a display with a hyena inside.
Brothers in arms. Brothers at war. Who's right? Who's... left?
- At the back of the War Room is a red poster with the Abramovici twins, scan it.
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, or there will be explosive consequences.
- On the bottom floor of the Armory area, in the northwest corner is a display with three skeletons arranged to represent this riddle's phrase.
Can anyone TOP the Penguin when it comes to the full VIP treatment?
- In a small room connected to the bottom floor of the Iceberg Lounge, look for a top hat. You'll need to zoom in to successfully scan it.
1: Immediately when entering the Collapsed Streets, look for a grapple point up above after the stream of hot air.
2: Just behind that hot air is another Riddler trophy. Stop the air and gain access to the trophy.
3: In the Collapsed Streets where you must navigate the drop with the line launcher, look to the south for a small room with a Riddler trophy. Use the line launcher to get in there.
4: Create an ice platform with the Freeze Blast on the east side of the water in the Collapsed Streets. From there, Grapnel Boost onto the east ledge to smash through the wooden panel on the ceiling. You will need to position a platform so you can grapple onto the highest platform, rather than the smaller ledge below it. Use the Batclaw to grab the trophy.
5: Create an ice platform in the centre of the water and collect the trophy there.
6: Jump through the glass window at the end of the first corridor. The trophy is inside here, but it's cage will close whenever you enter. First, use explosive gel to destroy the left-hand destructible wall. Then make your way around the room so you can see through the now-open window, then use the batclaw to grab the trophy.
7: From the platform that you grabbed Trophy 6, turn around and grapple through the broken wall. There will be a destructible wall, and a Riddler trophy on the ceiling above. Use the Batclaw to collect it.
8: Inside the Wonder Tower Foundations, beneath the door you enter from, is a set of iron bars locked with a TYGER encrypted panel.
9: On the east side of Wonder Tower Foundations, on the middle floor behind a destructible wall.
10: In the southeast corner of the Wonder Tower Foundations, beside a set of floor grates.
11: Inside a baby's carriage to the west side of Wonder Avenue.
12: Behind a weak wooden wall along the west corridor of Wonder Avenue.
13: Behind a destructible wall in the corridor leading to Ra's lair. The Riddler mark to activate this is on the other side of the wall, so use a Remote Batarang to navigate around the building.
14: From one of the rooms in the second floor of Wonder Tower is a pressure pad. Start from the west side then use the Line Launcher to travel east, then south onto the last pressure pad.
15: Underneath a small gap - which you must slide under - to the right of the main path through Wonder Avenue.
16: In the Secret Corridor, there's fence with a mine blocking it. Use the Disruptor to bypass this and collect the trophy on the other side.
17: Behind a REC controlled gate to the west of the Chamber of the Demon.
18: In the west set of Collapsed Streets, to the south of the room filled with water. Use the Freeze Blast to create a platform underneath the ledge, the use the Batclaw to grab it.
19: In the northwest corner of the west set of Collapsed Streets. Use the Line Launcher from the entrance to the room, then fire a second shot to the left to reach it.
20: Opposite Trophy XX. Use the Batclaw to cut the Riddler trophy down, then create an ice platform to collect it.
21: South of Trophy XX. Use the upgraded Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the case then the Batclaw to collect the trophy.
22: In the room connected to the Wonder Tower Foundations is a destructible floor panel. Use a Batarang on the Riddler mark above it to open the Riddler case on the ground below.
23: In the south west corner of the south set of Collapsed Streets is a door locked by a TYGER panel. Once you have the right codes, open the door and Batclaw the Riddler trophy off the ceiling at the bottom of the steps.
24: After riding the elevator to the observation deck of the Wonder Tower and unlocking the fence, shimmy all the way around to the east side of the tower.
25: While climbing the Wonder Tower you'll pass through the elevator shaft and into a corridor with an iron bar cage. After exiting the cage, grapple onto it and follow it around to find the Riddler trophy on the top.
Riddles Locations - Wonder City
1: This question can only be answered from an unusual perspective. Can you get yourself there?
- While climbing the Wonder Tower you'll cross a tightrope to a second beam. Beneath the second beam is the Riddler question mark. To successfully scan this, you will need to drop or glide away from the tower, and scan it as you fall.
2: Crime is a global issue. You'll never stop it Batman.
- At the centre of the Wonder Tower Foundations is a large globe. Scan this.
3: Read all about it! Is this a sign of the Times?
- Head down the east corridor after entering the Wonder Tower and look for a newspaper board with "Wonder City: Shut Down".
4: Wanted: Dead... and alive?
- Look for a wanted poster of Solomon Grundy in the corridor east of the Chamber of the Demon.
5: Do these demonic twins pose a threat?
- Scan the two statues at the end of the Chamber of the Demon.
6: Where can you get a wonderful view of the past?
- At the top of the elevator to Wonder Tower is a plaque with Gotham City etched onto it. Scan this.
1: Inside the Wonder Tower Foundations, above the entrance to the lift in the centre. Use the Batclaw.
2: Above the door leading to Wonder Avenue. Use the platforms above to reach it.
3: Along the west wall on the ground floor.
4: Above the last door before entering Wonder Avenue proper.
5: From the last Demon Seal, turn 180 degrees and look for the next above the archway.
6: In the centre of the large, locked door leading to the Wonder City Temple.
7: After climbing out of the vent into the Chamber of the Demon, turn around and find the seal in the centre of the door.
8 + 9: Each of these are on either side of the large door to the final room of the Chamber of the Demon.
10: After riding the elevator to the observation deck of Wonder Tower, on the outside of the tower.
11: The same position as Demon Seal 10, but on the inside of the elevator shaft.
12: While climbing the Wonder Tower, you will pass through the elevator shaft to a lower level. Turn around and spot the seal above the area you came from.
