We've pinpointed all the Riddler Challenges in Batman Arkham City.

Industrial District

Riddler Trophies

1: Use the REC on the crane to lower the hook into the water then raise it again to reveal a Riddler trophy. Use the Batclaw to grab it.

2: Find a destructible wall underneath the crane. Inside is a cage with two electromagnets. use R1/RT on the right hand magnet. Then use R1/RT on the left hand magnet to collect the sphere and immediately use R2/RB on the right hand magnet to drag the sphere across the cage.

3: In an alleyway southwest of the crane is a pressure pad. Grapple. Up to the tallest chimney to the east nearby. From there gain some speed in a gliding manoeuvre then dive bomb on top of the pressure pad. You'll need to have a lot of speed to activate this pad and unlock the Riddler mark.

4: Along the west wall is a passageway blocked by electricity. You will need the TYGER encryption codes to unlock it.

5: On top of the roof along the west wall is a set of five pressure pads. Time your sprint so the pads turn green as you run across them.

6: Underneath a large digger in the open area near the entrance to the Subway Maintenance Access. Slide under here to collect the Riddler.

7: On the rooftop of one of the southwestern buildings is a pressure pad and a set of Riddler marks. Stepping on the pad highlights a single mark - track this as it spins around, then use the Batarang to activate it when the cage vanishes.

8: Northwest of the Subway Maintenance Access is a cage on the ground wi three pressure pads. Step on one of them, then use the Line Launcher to propel yourself across the gap. Press Circle/B to drop onto the next pad in time. Repeat for the final pressure pad to unlock the cage.

9: Look for a building on the ground floor of the southwest corner with a destructible wall and a REC controlled door. Access the door and step on the pressure pad, then use the upgraded Cryptographic Sequencer to hack the TYGER panel opposite. Access the trophy by destroying the wall outside.

10: In a passageway on the south side of the wall. Use your Line Launcher to cross the electrified floor.

11: Underneath the building northeast of the Subway Maintenance Access tunnel, behind a destructible wall.

12: On top of the Steel Mill on the north side, behind a weak wooden wall.

13:  On the south side of the tunnel running through the Steel Mill is a small train cart. Use the REC to push the train forward, then step on it to apply explosive gel to the ceiling.

14: In the water south of the Steel Mill is a cage. Start from the southeast corner of the Steel Mill roof and use the dive bomb glide technique to carefully land at the end of the cage. Remember to aim for the left side of the cage with the small opening.

15: On the east side of the Steel Mill is a destructible wall. Use explosive gel on it, then climb over the room to the trophy cage on the other side. Use a Remote Batarang to activate the Riddler mark inside from afar.

16: Look on the map for the small section of the Steel Mill that sticks out on the east. Find this area on the rooftop and the trophy in plain sight.

17: Slightly northeast of the gate entrance to the Steel Mill is a cage with a pair of electromagnets. Use the REC to pull and push the sphere to the end of the cage.

18: Inside one of the carriages at the top of the Ferris Wheel. Use the Batclaw to grab it.

19:  Northwest of the gate entrance to the Steel Mill behind a wall is a cage filled with proximity mines. Once you have the necessary disruptor you can access the cage.

20: In a tunnel running along the north side of the building northwest of the Subway Maintenance Tunnel. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the cage.

21: North of the gate leading to "Jokers Funhouse" is a tower with two wooden walls. From the top of the broken piping to the east, glide down and hit the panel inside the cage then push off the wall to collect the Riddle trophy.

22: In the water northwest of the Steel Mill is a vent that can be latched on to with the Batclaw. Open this to reveal the Riddler trophy, then use Freeze Grenades to create a platform and collect it.

23: Get on top of the two tallest chimneys in the district. To the northwest of here is a pressure pad on a chimney, with two more on the two chimneys you're on. Glide from one pad to the next, using the Grapnel Boost to avoid touching the ground. Once done, look for the Riddler trophy in between the two chimneys.

24: In a small courtyard in the middle of the buildings on the northeast of the district is a pressure pad and the trophy case. You'll need to be quick and agile with the Remote Batarang here to successfully hit all three Riddler marks before the gate closes. Start with the mark on the right, then the centre then finally the left hand one.

25: North of Trophy 24 is a set of hot air vents and land. Mines.  Once you have the right tools you can access this area easily.

26: Inside a small roof access building behind a destructible wall on the northeast of the building nearest the water.

27: Near the docks by the water is a cage with neon arrows p ointing inside. You'll need the upgraded Line Launcher to create a tightrope immediately after firing the second line to use it to grapple up to the edge.

28: Near the cranes on the northeast side of the district is a room with a wooden wall. Glide in here from an elevated position and simply collect the trop.

29: On the west side of the largest building in the northern section of the district. Smash through the three wooden walls to find the trophy.

30: South of the entrance to the district is a TYGER Panel behind a wall. Unlock that for the Riddler trophy.

31: On the rooftop of the large building in the northeast of the area is a small platform with a shelter. Step on the pressure pad on top of the shelter and quickly drop down and grab the Riddler trophy with the Batclaw.

32: in an alleyway between the two buildings is a pair of pressure pads. Each pad activates a certain number of lights. Keep stepping on each of these until all lights as active.

33: In an alleyway on the south side of the building in the northwestern section of the district. Time a sprint across the three pressure pads to activate all three in time.

34: In the building southwest of the Steel Mill is a bright corridor with a locked gate. Slide underneath the gate, then use the  collect the trophy on the ceiling.

35: Start from an elevated position then glide south towards a small platform leading to a hidden passageway far to the south. The trophy is in plain view inside.

36: Inside Zsasz's hideout, locate the Riddler trophy on the wall and create an ice platform to reach the trophy with the Batclaw. 

37: After defeating Zsasz, activate the panel to create the electrical current above the water. Stand next to the Riddler trophy case, and look up to the left for a vent. The task here is to charge a Remote Batarang with the electricity and direct it left through the vent to hit the power supply.

 

Joker Balloons - Industrial District

1: On the building north of the district and east of the entrance, overlooking the water to the north.

2: In between the tower and the large building south of the cranes, to the right of a Jokers Funland sign.

3: Along the east side of the large building to the northeast of the district.

4: To the right of the large Jokers Funland sign blocked by a van, north of the entrance to the Steel Mill.

5: Just to the northeast of the base of the ferris wheel.

6: Above the large gates at the entrance to the Steel Mill, on the arm of the right hand toy soldier statue.

7: On top of the crane to the northwest.

8: In the centre of the district on top of the Tricorner Naval sign.

9: On top of a set of speakers northwest of the Steel Mill, opposite the top of the tall tower.

10: Attached to another of Joker's toy soldier statues in the centre of the Steel Mill rooftop.

11: On top of a toy soldier statue on the ground south of the Steel Mill, overlooking the water.

12: On top of the digger's arm next to the entrance to the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels.

TYGER Cameras - Industrial District

1: On the corner of the building immediately east of the entrance.

2: East on the last camera, to the right of the doorway blocked by a van.

3: To the right of the door that leads to the area Nora Fries is kept.

4: On the northwest corner of the large building northeast of the area.

5: From the entrance of the Steel Mill, head north until you reach a large doorway blocked by a van. The camera is on the right.

6: To the right of the large gates at the entrance to the Steel Mill.

7: In the centre of the archway leading to a small courtyard west of the Steel Mill entrance.

8: To the right of a set of double doors (that leading to Zsasz's lair).

9: To the left of a set of large gates, north of the Jokers Fun House tunnel leading through the Steel Mill.

10: On a tall building next to the stairs leading up to the walkways, just south of the rear entrance to the Steel Mill.

11: West of the rear entrance to the Steel Mill is gate with bright lights and a Ferris wheel carriage inside. The camera is to the right of this.

12: On the large wall northwest of the entrance to the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels.

Riddles Locations - Industrial District

1: This question can only be answered from an unusual perspective. Can you get yourself there?

- The top of the question can be seen from most places in the district, since it's plastered in large along the west wall. The dot can be found on the top of the tall chimney, north of the area.

2: Which notorious family keeps talking trash?

- On the barge in the waters north of the district is a "Falcone Shipping" sign. Scan this.

3: Breaking news! Get out while you still can.

- On the side of Bill's Hotdogs in the north of the area is a set of flyers announcing Arkham City. Scan these.

4: Air, sea or land. It would be criminal not to use these wise guys, wouldn't it?

- Northeast of the entrance to the Steel Mill is a Falcone billboard advertisement on the east wall of the building.

5: Was this parasite ratted out, or does he continue to plague Gotham?

- On the ground along the northwest of the Steel Mill is a poster for Flannegan's Pest Control.

6: Does Zsasz still pose a threat? This guy called to find out.

- Scan the dead body attached to the pay phone slightly north of the Jokers Fun House tunnel running through the Steel Mill.

7: Did you hear the HOLE story of how Black Mask escaped?

- South of the Steel Mill is a wall overlooking the water with posters of the Black Mask on. Scan these.

8: If you're planning on making your mark in Arkham City, you'll need a special kind of realtor.

- After dealing with Zsasz in his lair, look on the desk for a collection of Broker cards. Scan those.

9: Can you find this cool couple before the romance thaws?

- Return to the room where you saved Nora, Mr Freeze's wife, and scan the two together.

The Bowery

Riddler Trophies Locations

1: On top of the roof south of the ACE Chemicals building is a small roof access with a destructible wall. The trophy is behind there.

2: South of Trophy 1 is a ladder. Hop down here and use the Line Launcher to access the trophy behind the weak wooden wall.

3: Above of a locked room higher up near the east wall. the trophy itself is attached to the wall, use the Batclaw to grab it.

4: In a small alleyway west of Wonder Tower, behind a cage blocked by hot air. Use the Freeze Blast to stop it.

5: On top of Finnigan's, southwest of the wonder tower and behind a set of iron bars. Hack the nearby TYGER panel to access it.

6: Look for a pressure pad on the roof in the very far southeast corner of the area. Step on it then dive bomb on to the nearest pad below. From there use the Line Launcher to reach the final pressure pad without touching the ground.

7: On top of the tall building northeast of the entrance to the Subway. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the cage.

8: On top of the tall building along the south wall of the area. Direct a Remote Batarang through the ventilation system - making use of u-turns - to hit the Riddler mark button.

9: From the roof of Trophy 8, glide onto the pressure pad on the wall of the building to the west. Immediately push yourself off and glide over to the opposite wall's pad, then back again to land on the final pad next to the trophy.

10: Southwest of the area on the ground floor, behind the Inmate Behavioral Analysis Unit door.

11: South of Trophy 9 behind a destructible wall.

12: On the rooftop of the building where you found Trophy 9 and 11. Use the combination of pull and push with the electromagnets, while stepping off and on the pressure pad to switch the gates inside the cage.

13: Slide underneath the chain link fence at the end of the alleyway to the south of the Museum.

14: On the roof of the Museum, along the south wall.

15: Below the entrance of the Museum is a set of wooden walls. To access the highest one, climb on top of the entrance to the Subway to the east and use the Line Launcher to propel through the wooden panel.

16: underneath Trophy 15 is another wooden panel. Punch through here to collect the trophy.

17: Southwest of the area around the back of the Museum is a cage with a pressure pad in front of it. Step on the pad then create a tightrope with your Line Launcher to enter the cage and hit the buttons without blocking them.

18: Underneath the rear entrance to the Museum along the west wall is a set of three pressure pads. Use the Line Launcher to travel between all three without touching the ground to open the case.

19: On top of the roof in the corner to the west is a cage with a set of three Riddler marks. Place explosive gel on each of these, then step on the pressure pad outside. Zoom in to individually target only gels with active Riddler marks.

20: On the ground in an alleyway east of Trophy 19 is a REC controlled door. Open this for access to the trophy.

21: Find the horse statue near the rear entrance of the Museum. Climb on to the platform nearby then create a tightrope with the Line Launcher to approach the Riddler trophy and collect it.

22: North of the horse statue outside the Museum's rear entrance locked behind a TYGER panel controlled iron bars.

23: On top of the roof north of the rear entrance to the Museum is a short passageway. To gain access, destroy the wall of the small roof access building nearby and follow the tunnel inside.

24: On top of the right hand pillar southwest of the Bank Of Gotham.

25: Follow the pillar from Trophy 24 directly down to its base. The Riddler trophy is in plain sight here.

26: There's an electricity fence near to Trophy 18. The task here is to dive bomb and glide from an elevated position above the area to gain enough momentum to fly over the fence and grab the Riddler trophy nearby.

27: Inside the tram south of the Museum's rear entrance. Take the stairs then hack the TYGER panel to find the trophy.

28: On top of the building west of the Bank Of Gotham is a pressure pad. Sprint across it and slide into the tunnel as the gates open.

29: West of the Bank Of Gotham is a trophy case that locks automatically when you get near. Climb onto the nearby vents and grab it with the Batclaw.

30: On the ground floor, southwest of the Bank Of Gotham is a REC controlled doorway beneath an Italian Cuisine sign. Open this for the trophy.

31: Look for the landmines towards the east end of the passageway running underneath the central building. Use explosive gel on the wall nearby to access the trophy inside.

32: Look underneath the rooftop of the large central building in the area (south of the Bank Of Gotham). There are six Riddler marks, three on each wall. Quickly tap L1/LT to throw Batarangs at all six to unlock the cage above.

33: On the rooftop of the large central building. The Riddler trophy is on the top of one of the posts here.

34: From an elevated position, glide down into the weak wooden panel of the tram southeast of the Bank Of Gotham. 

35: On the ground behind a wall, southeast of Bank Of Gotham. Use the Remote Batarang to activate the Riddler mark to the east while standing next to Riddler case. Once the timer starts, quickly tap L1/LT to activate the second Riddler mark to the north.

 

TYGER Cameras - The Bowery

1: To the right of the locked gate leading into the Bowery, on the west side of the border between Park Row.

2: East of the previous camera, on the northeast corner of the next building.

3: West of the exit from the Processing Centre, on the south pillar in the centre of the road.

4: On the first floor walkways overlooking the road, southeast of the base of the Bank Of Gotham.

5: Above the exit from the Processing Centre.

6: To the south of the Bowery, with the large tree in the centre and near the TITAN canister.

7: In the south east corner, next to a neon "Hotel" sign, opposite a Gotham News van.

8: South of the entrance to the Museum, on the wall.

9: East of the entrance to the Museum, on the same level.

10: Above one of the monorail entrances on the north side.

11: On the ground floor, beneath the glass dome and near a statue with a tyre around its neck.

12: North of the rear entrance to the Museum.

Riddles Locations - The Bowery

1: This question can only be answered from an unusual perspective. Can you get yourself there?

- After entering the Processing Center for the first time, use the Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the door. Pass through here and switch to detective vision to align the Riddler mark.

2: My intellect towers above yours, Batman. I wonder if you'll ever solve this riddle?

- Zoom in on the Wonder Tower and scan it.

3: The feuding families always sit down to a good meal. Will there be a massacre?

- Look for San Maroni restaurant on the east side of the tall central building, on the walkway near the main road.

4: Cowboy, trilby or bowler? Hats off to anyone brave enough to try one on.

- Opposite the entrance to the Museum is a Hat Shop sign. Get close to this to scan it.

5: Do you need to look SHARP to campaign for change?

- On the rooftop of the tall building direct west of Wonder Tower is a billboard for Sharp's electoral campaign.

6: Was the writing on the wall from the moment you entered?

- Look for a small plague to the right of the entrance to the Processing Center. You'll have to zoom in for the riddle to be detected.

7: Arkham City is not the place to be rich or famous. Bruce Wayne has never felt quite so wanted.

- To the right of the entrance to the Museum is a set of wanted posters for Bruce Wayne.

8: You're a dummy if you don't try and buy one.

- On the ground between Park Row and The Bowery is a ventriloquist sign. Scan this.

9: Studies have shown that if you're not on your best behaviour, you'll come out crazy. How Strange?

- Scan the large gate to the Inmate Behavioral Analysis Unit at the southeast of the area.

10: You don't want to be caught off-guard in this place, do you?

- Inside the Processing Center room is an interrogation room to the northwest. Enter here and scan the guard tied up here.

11: You don't have to be crazy to shop here, do you?

- Look for the "Jezebel Center" sign above the locked gates at the north side of the Bowery's west side road.

 

Subway

Riddler Trophies

1: Look for the Catwoman trophy in the west section of the area. Open the nearby vent and destroy the weak floor panel at the end to find the Trophy below.

2: In the main room after entering from the Bowery is a small room with a set of iron bars blocking the way. Hack the door panel to gain access.

3: In the large room with the train tracks. Look for a vent to the north, the Riddler trophy is inside.

4: In the room with the train tracks, look for the Riddler trophy in a short alcove inside the floor panels.

5: After passing through the area where you destroy a destructible wall and exit onto some trains, head west and look for the trophy of the ground at the end.

6, 7, 8: Before the REC controlled door leading to the Subway Terminal, look to the left for a destructible wall. Directly beyond there is a Riddler room with three Trophies. Hack the panel then quickly collect the Riddler trophies and use a Line Launcher tightrope before the electricity starts. Simply wait for the timer to stop and leave.

9: West of the last set of trophies is a a pressure pad and a Riddler trophy. Activate the pad then use the Remote Batarang to hit all three Riddler marks on the ceiling of the train ahead. Start with the furthest first, and use boost to hit all three within the time limit.

10: Once you have the TYGER encryption protocols, hack the panel here and find the Riddler trophy inside the left-hand train.

11: On the underside of the roof of one of the trains in the Subway Terminal.

12: In the southeast corner of the Subway Terminal is a set of weak wooden walls. Smash through here and search to the left for the Riddler trophy down a set of stairs.

13: On the west side of the Subway Terminal, look for a small ledge to grapple up on to. Inside here is a trophy case and a TYGER panel.

14: Get to the top of the stairs near the west side bridge and use a Line Launcher to smash through the wooden panels to the west.

15: In the northwest corner of the Subway Terminal on the ground floor is a short passageway with a Riddler trophy inside. Crouch to get inside.

16: From Trophy 15 head east then turn 180 degrees. Use the REC launcher to shot the fusebox through the panelling and head up a short set of stairs on the left.

17: On the right immediately after walking through the door leading to the Wonder Tower is a REC controlled gate. Access here for the trophy.

18: On the other side of the large watery pit leading to the Wonder Tower is a trophy case on the wall. Use the upgraded Cryptographic Sequencer to open it then grab it with the Batclaw.

19:  In the south side of the water leading to the Wonder Tower. Use the Freeze Blast to access it.

20, 21, 22: Behind a destructible wall in the west side of the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels. Step on the pressure pad then activate the Riddler mark on the vault door. Quickly grab the three Riddler trophies on the wall then use the Freeze Blast tool to block each of the hot air vents as they turn on. There are three sets of two - use detective vision if you can't spot them.

23: In the northeast corner of the tunnels in the Subway Maintenance Access area. Use the Batclaw to grab it from the west side or Line Launcher over to it.

24: In plain view in one of the tunnels above the area where you drop down to the lower part of the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels near the sewerage waterfall.

25: Below the drop from the Industrial District to the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels is an electrical current. Use this to charge a Remote Batarang then direct it north through the small gap in the iron bars to hit the fusebox on the other side.

26: In the room with the waterfalls where you drop to the lower parts of the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels, throw a Freeze Grenade into the water below and drop down. Use the Batclaw to grab the Riddler trophy off the wall.

Joker Teeth - Subway

1: In the first tunnel after entering the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels.

2: Just before the waterfall drop to the lower levels.

3: After dropping down to the lower floors, follow the path under a gate. The Teeth are just before the water you must use the Line Launcher to cross.

4: Just before the drop from the Subway Maintenance Access tunnels into the Subway Terminal.

5: After the drop from the Subway Maintenance Access tunnel, inside the Subway Terminal.

6: On the ground floor of the Subway Terminal, west of where the Penguin's jammer is.

7: Next to the door leading to the Wonder City.

8: In the small room just before entering the Subway Terminal, near a REC controlled doorway.

9: Near the pipes on top of the train leading through the north Subway tunnel.

10: After the vent and before the train you have to climb on top of to pass through the Subway Tunnels.

11: On the bottom floor of the Subway Station, in the centre of the room.

12: Inside the small booth with a TV in the southwest corner of the top floor of the Subway Station.

Riddles Locations - Subway

1: Inside the train on the west tunnels, look for a mirror. The question mark reflects onto this when using detective vision.

2: BOARD at drive-time? I'm not going to broadcast any more clues.

- On the bottom floor of the Subway station, in the northeast corner is a poster advertising Vicki Vale's radio show.

3: Coming back from the dead is cheating on any day of the week.

- Scan the advertisement of Solomon Grundy on the wall in the east of the Subway Tunnels, just west of the REC controlled gate.

4: It's vacation time. Where shall I go? Somewhere venomous?

- Along the north wall of the Subway Terminal is a poster advertising Santa Prisca. Zoom in to scan this.

5: This Killer was collared, but is he now on the loose?

- Use the Line Launcher at the top of the waterfall, then destroy the weakened floor panel. Scan the collar in the right hand corner of this room.

Catwoman Riddler Locations

1: Immediately after entering the area from the Bowery side entrance, look for the Catwoman Riddler trophy inside a room in plain view.

2: Left of the REC controlled door leading from the Subway Tunnels to the Terminal is a destructible wall. Pass through here and look for a grate on the ceiling to pass through.

3: Behind the REC controlled door leading to the Subway Terminal, on the ceiling.

4: On the ceiling in the northeast corner of the Subway Maintenance Access area.

5: Beneath the bridge in the room with the waterfalls. Opposite Trophy 25.
