Assassin’s Creed 3 Multiplayer Video Leaks Highlights New Details
Ubisoft’s conference isn’t until Wednesday, but Ubisoft France’s YouTube account may have just leaked an Assassin’s Creed 3 video we shouldn’t have seen until then.
Depicted as an Abstergo promotional video advertising the fictional Assassin’s Creed Templar-fronted company and its Animus technology, the video actually drops a lot of details on Assassin’s Creed 3’s multiplayer.
Multilplayer in Assassin’s Creed brings a unique approach to stealth, and judging by some of the video’s gameplay this remains intact for Assassin’s Creed 3.
Assassin’s Creed 3’s multiplayer will feature a few new elements, however, such as customisable heroes and two new game modes Domination and Wolf Pack.
Domination is your typical capture-the-point match, except you must do so without attracting any attention to yourself in a 4v4 arena. Wolfpack is a 2 or 4 player match where you must work together to hunt down AI enemies as quickly as possible.
There’s new social elements that track your statistics to challenge and compare with your friends, too – think AutoLog but with a hidden blade – while additional story elements can be unlocked for completing challenges throughout the multiplayer mode.
