Editor's Letter - 30 September 2011

Greetings reader!

This week saw the much-anticipated release of the Battlefield 3 beta on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. You can get it right now from the various and relevant DLC outlets. We've been playing it like crazy, and have compared it to Modern Warfare 3, to give you an idea of what both games are like.

The no-so-small rivalry of FIFA and PES was reignited this week with the release of the latest iterations of the world's greatest (read: only) football games. We've reviewed both, naturally, so click through to see if PES has caught up with FIFA this year. Clue: it hasn't, but it's close.

We've also been playing Diablo III and and Dead Island to (un)death and written you an essential mods and crafting guide, and you can win a copy of PES 2012 on Xbox 360 and PS3 here!

See you on the site.
